Kurka3a 3.0

The third iteration of the Kurka3a series continues its main objective of spreading joy through sculpture, this time in an installation of large scale turtles made of junk metal forged and foraged in East Amman.

Another collaboration between local artists Lamia Fakhoury and Reem Mouasher, each piece is hand-painted with motifs meant to inspire positive energy and promote messages of greener living and levity.

With shells shaped of metal in a “mablasa” and parts made of pipe fittings, screws, and springs, these giant garden creatures are sure to make you smile!
