MUHANAD ALNASSIRI
Muhanad Al Nassiri is a talented artist and architect who currently resides and works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, where he developed a strong interest in art and printmaking at a young age.
Al Nassiri's educational background includes a B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering, which he received from the University of Technology in Baghdad in 1992, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts at Baghdad University, which he earned in 2000.
During the period between 1996 and 2003, Al Nassiri worked as an architect, graphic designer, and etching printmaker in Baghdad, collaborating with a number of other artists and honing his skills in these areas. In 2003, he made the decision to move to Amman, Jordan, where he continued to work as an architect and printmaker, this time alongside artist Rafa Nasiri.
In 2007, Al Nassiri established his own Giclee printmaking studio in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Throughout his career, he has participated in a wide range of art exhibitions, galleries, and projects, including the 12th Norway International Print Triennial in 1999.
Al Nassiri's artistic style is truly unique, as he combines architectural hand sketches with watercolors and digital processing techniques to create breathtaking Giclee prints. His work has garnered the attention of galleries and private collectors around the world, and he has even created special collections for customers in the Middle East and Europe.
Al Nassiri's art is inspired by the architecture, heritage, and street life of his hometown in Iraq, which holds a special place in his heart.
