MOHAMMAD OMRAN

Mohamad Omran was born in Damascus, Syria in 1979 and currently resides in Paris, France. An acclaimed sculptor and versatile painter, Omran is an artist whose creative odyssey spans continents and emotions. Having graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus, he emerged as a celebrated sculptor, marking his presence in the local art scene. In 2007, he relocated to France, taking his passion and broadening his vision to new horizons.

Omran's art is a fusion of media and messages. His journey continued with academic pursuits, earning a Master's and a PhD in art history from the University of Lyon II. This academic exploration marked a turning point in his artistic trajectory, expanding his artistic language beyond sculpture to painting. These creations caught the attention of art enthusiasts, leading to a cascade of individual and collective exhibitions across esteemed venues.

From the "La Façon" workshop in Lyon to galleries and institutes in Paris, Bordeaux, Berlin, Beirut, and beyond, Omran's art has graced international stages.
