Dhuha AlKhdhairi
Born in Baghdad in 1976, Dhuha AlKhdhairi obtained a Bachelor of Interior Design from the College of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1998. In 2002, she exhibited her work in the Al Orfali Gallery in Baghdad, and three years later, she held her first solo exhibition, titled "Windows from Baghdad," in Amman, Jordan.
In 2006, Dhuha obtained her General Vocational Qualifications in Graphic Design from Al-Quds College in Amman and participated in a joint exhibition in Tokyo as part of the Arabian Art in Japan the following year; 2007, the same year in which she held her second solo exhibition at the Darbounah Gallery in Amman and became an established member of the Bahraini Art Society.
The artist's work is focused on the architectural heritage of Baghdad. In 2011, she held her third solo exhibition, "Houses from Memory," at the Dar Al-Anda Gallery in Amman. Dhuha AlKhdhairi also works as a graphic designer.
