Image Festival #5: Future
Josef Koudelka brings Vestiges, a moving exploration of ancient Greek & Roman sites to the terrace of Dar Al-Anda from April 9 to 11. See details for Vestige by accessing our Facebook Event.
Then between April 12 & 26, French photographer Scarlett Coten concludes Dar Al-Anda's first-ever artist residency by showcasing Still Alive and Mectoub at the gallery's main space. A dedicated page for Scarlett's exhibition is located here. You may also view the exhibition on Facebook.
About the Amman Image Festival:
The Amman Image Festival is the only major event dedicated to photography in the region. Its aim is to gather more professionals together, attract a wider audience, expand internationally and create opportunities for sustainable cultural exchanges.
In April 2016, the 5th edition of the Image Festival is being organized by Darat Al Tasweer and sponosred by The Institut Français de Jordanie, with the support of many venues and partners, including Dar Al-Anda.

The Institut Français in Amman is the cultural operator of the French Embassy in Jordan. It is located in one of the oldest districts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's capital, on top of Jabal Al-Luweibdeh, since its establishment in 1963. Through the efforts of its consecutive team members, the « markaz » was able to fit into the cultural environment of this hill.
