Book Launch: French Scientific and Cultural Diplomacy by Philippe Lane (Arabic Edition)
This event commenorated the official launch of the Arabic translation of French Scientific And Cultural Diplomacy By: Professor Phillippe Lane. This event was attended by Professor Philippe Lane himself in his current post as the Cultural Counsellor at the French Embassy in Amman, as well as Mr. David Bertolotti, The Ambassador of France to Jordan.
The Arabic edition of this book (دبلوماسية القوة الناعمة لفرنسا بين العلم والثقافة) includes an new introduction by His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hassan Bin Talal. It was translated by Professor Abdullah Talal Shunnaq and reviewed by Professor Jamal Shalabi. It was published by Mr. Mohammad Al-Sharqawi.

The Institut Français in Amman is the cultural operator of the French Embassy in Jordan. It is located in one of the oldest districts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's capital, on top of Jabal Al-Luweibdeh, since its establishment in 1963. Through the efforts of its consecutive team members, the « markaz » was able to fit into the cultural environment of this hill.
