Ghandi Al-Jebawi was born in Irbid, Jordan in 1980. He studied art in several private art studios in Jordan under the supervision of many accomplished artists namely Husni Abu-Krayim (PhD), Prof. Elena from Ukraine and Prof. Bajes Abd-El Ghani from Germany. He has participated in more than 25 group exhibitions in many places in Jordan and abroad. He’s a Member of Jordanian Plastic Artists Association since 2005 . He has helped found several art studios in Jordan and has held numerous workshops at Yarmouk University in Amman. He is also an art instructor and lecturer in Orfali Gallery, teaching fundamentals of drawing and painting.
He has been fascinated by the art of painting since he was a child. At the age of 8, he started to learn painting under professional masters. He studied the principles of the craft and gained a strong academic foundation in drawing and painting in several private art studios under the supervision of specialist academicians. Al Jebawi has also completed several workshops in academic painting and drawing. His accomplishments in painting are numerous and impressive. In 1999 and 2000 he conducted a workshop in Studio Madaba on drawing quick sketches, gesture drawing, and drawing figures in motion. In 2000 and 2001 he held workshops on figure drawing, landscape painting, and painting in oils and watercolors in Studio 11 in Amman. In 2007 Al Jebawi participated in an international symposium named 'New Artists from Around the World' in Diakofto in Greece. He has been a member of the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association since 2005, and he currently works as an art instructor and lecturer in Orfali Gallery, teaching fundamentals of drawing and painting. Al Jebawi’s solo exhibition entitled “Sonata of Four Seasons” was held in Orfali Gallery in Amman in 2011. His works have been acquired by a number of organizations, foundations, companies, universities, galleries and museums in Jordan and abroad.
